When I first started working with lift chairs, I was excited to do a simple slide out of the chair, but I soon found myself thinking about the quality of the materials. I didn’t want to risk harming this precious component of my life, and I knew that I needed to look more closely at the different types of materials.

It turns out that most people dont know what a liftable (and liftable-laid) chair is. The word lift is used to describe the process of lifting a piece of furniture, but liftable is the term used to describe the part of the chair or table that is in contact with the ground. The chair is lifted to the ground, and then slid and locked back into place.

Now I know what you were thinking. It’s probably the same reason I’ve been making those giant, dangerous slidecovers for the last four years.

The reason why I didn’t realize you had liftcovers was that I was just as clueless as you are about what a liftable chair is.

I’m confused. A liftable chair is a chair with a liftable back. And a liftable chair is not a chair with a liftable back, it is a chair without a liftable back. So I guess you and I are both confused.

When I think of liftable chairs I think of a chair that can be lifted. Like a liftable bed, or a liftable dresser. That is what I was thinking of when I was writing this. Because there are no lifts in lifts and no liftable chairs.
