I have a very easy time determining whether a vehicle’s top-level performance is adequate. I can see on a scale of 1-10 how far the vehicle can go, and the closer it can get to that number, the better.
I could do without the scale of one thing or another though because it’s difficult to even know whether something’s adequate until you’ve actually played with it. The same thing goes for cars, trucks, and bikes, but those vehicles are much easier to determine.
