I’ve never really understood why our lives take such a different form when we’re talking to someone at a distance. Most people are like an on-demand robot, but as you’ll see in this video, there are actually a lot of people out there that can hear you, that knows what you’re saying, and that is the reason they’re out there.
I thought voice activated computers were the most incredible invention we’ve ever seen, but they seem to have just gotten more expensive, more sophisticated, and more powerful. I still can’t figure out why I need to spend money to make my phone call sound as good as yours.
Voice activated computer systems are nothing new, but in the last few years theyve become more and more advanced as they are able to handle voices at the highest levels. A voice search engine that can understand voices is still a pretty big leap in technology, and one I would like to see sooner rather than later.
One of the coolest voice-activated computer systems Ive heard of is the Sysmex-X2 by Microsik. It can read facial expressions and can record voice samples of people using the machine. This sounds pretty cool, but it seems to be the first system that uses voice recognition to translate a voice into text.
Voice recognition is something we are still testing and I can’t say that I’m entirely sure if it will work for anything beyond the immediate future. The Microsik Sysmex-X2 is not only pretty cool (and very similar to the Sysmex-X!), but also works really well with the iPhone’s voice recognition functions.
Voice recognition is a relatively new technology that is still being refined by the tech world at large. It’s still somewhat experimental, so I wouldn’t recommend using it for anything but a personal project or a project you have already designed with the Sysmex-X2.
Its possible that, at some point, all phones will be voice activated, but at the moment, only a few have gotten this far. It may very well be this feature that the phones themselves are the first to incorporate, as it would be a pretty big change to their architecture.
Its possible that all phones will be voice activated, although it’s also possible that they will still be able to tell you the weather or the time or the temperature or whatever you need to know. Its possible that we may never see a phone without a voice activated function, but I can’t imagine that it will be a phone with a voice activation button.
The point is that it would be a change that would be difficult to make because phones are already very complicated devices that are designed to do a whole range of things. The big selling point of a smartphone is the fact that it provides a huge amount of functions and it is already easy to use and understand. This would mean a phone that is more complex than we currently have would be more expensive, and that wouldn’t be something that many people would want.
Now that I think about it, that would be a reason to want to make the phone less complicated, not because it is more difficult to use. And while its possible that people could use a voice activated phone in the home, I dont think that will be the majority of people.
